The software on this page are the most commonly used for ARES operations and general amateur radio use. The difference is that these are “packages” of the software. Meaning that these zip files contain the binary (executable) and their documents. This provides the full suite for the user.

In the case of the Linux version of FlDigi there are several “parts” of the FlDigi suite. This download has included all 11 sub-parts of the suite.  The normal user of FlDigi does not need all parts of the suite. However, an ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) operator needs and uses all the parts of the full suite of binaries.
